OUR PRACTICE
Our experience enables us to offer counseling to teens, adults, couples and families. We recognize that as we transition into different stages of life and/or experience certain events that we may benefit from a safe neutral space to process our thoughts and feelings.
OUR FOCUS
Our focus is to help you develop clarity about your experience. It is important to understand how our thoughts and feelings effect our behavior. We will work with you to develop skills to navigate everyday life. The goal is to heal, energize, and improve your overall sense of well-being.

Lilia earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois. With more than two decades of experience in the mental health field, she brings depth, steadiness, and warmth to her work with adult clients.
As a trauma-informed, bicultural, and bilingual Latina therapist, she is passionate about supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. She offers therapy in both English and Spanish and understands the layered experiences that can come with cultural identity, immigration, and adjustment. Her approach honors the strengths within each client while creating space to process the challenges they carry.

With over a decade of experience, I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore life’s challenges safely and honestly. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Person-Centered Therapy, and Integrative techniques—so I can tailor my work to meet each person’s unique needs.
I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of clinical settings, supporting individuals and families as they navigate ADHD, parenting, trauma and grief, cultural identity, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
I am passionate about helping people build emotional awareness, strengthen boundaries, and reconnect with themselves. I truly believe that with the right support, people of all ages can grow into the most authentic and empowered versions of themselves.
Wes Kennedy, MA, LCSW
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but my goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive space from our very first session—whether you come as an individual or as a couple.
My client-centered, trauma-informed approach means your stories, values, and goals shape the work we do together. I help teens, adults, and couples heal from past trauma, grief, addiction, navigate anxiety and depression, and build stronger, healthier relationships.
As a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish), I’m sensitive to the cultural and relational contexts that shape who you are and how you connect with others.
For clients who desire it, I can also integrate spiritual reflection into therapy, always honoring your level of comfort. Whether we’re working on improving communication, rebuilding trust, or deepening emotional connection, my aim isn’t to “fix” anyone—it’s to walk alongside you as you heal, grow, and move toward the life and relationships you were created for.
